I'm not sure there is a need to respond to your idea. Its an idea, and it can't hurt to try. If you think it will accomplish something, then give it a shot. If you are correct, then report back so others may try. Personally, I see nothing wrong with using the X-Mailer header, or any other header, as a filter key.
