Hi folks- This is sort of an unrelated problem to Emailer but I had hoped maybe some of you might have an answer for me since you have often spoken disparagingly about Microsoft products.
I had Internet Explorer 4.5 on this used Imac and it worked fine until I recently upgraded to 5.1.7. Now I get a message as follows- A script error occured. Some scripts on the affected page may not work correctly. Do you want continue running scripts on the affected page? YES NO I went to the Explorer/MS web site and selected Support but could not get the Online Support to work and finally called the Pay Support phone and told them what happened. They said this error was a pay for type support error. I told them I had downloaded the Free Upgrade and could not access the Free Support for it and I felt I should not have to pay for anything. They told me they did not support a Mac and a download was at the customer risk. I said they should not advertise free support and then not allow a customer to access this page but all they said was they did not know why I could not access the support page and there was nothing they could do about it. Before I blew my cool I hung up. Anyone know why I get this error message and how to fix it? Or should I go to Netscape or what. regards, doug ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
