Greetings again--
Thanks to encouragement from chris my troublesome
DB is rebuilt and humming nicely. Now I am newly
inspired (!) to get my archive up--to-date!
I have been using "Emailer Archive Solution" by
Dan Crevier, this is the one that uses FM (mine uses the
Runtime version) and Applescripts to transfer the
messages. This was working just dandy for me in 8.6,
but now the AppleScripts don't seem to work--in particular
Transfer to Archive. I tried installing the OSAX scripting
addition as instructed but it didn't seem to matter. Then
I tried commenting out the part of the AS that checks for
OSAX, with the result that it imports zero messages, crashes
and freezes my system.
My AppleScript version is 1.8.3 (on OS 91.), but I could
downgrade it to 1.5.5 (came with 9.1) if anyone knows if that
would help. I have a feeling there must be some small fixes
here that would get it running again--does anybody know??
