If anyone has downloaded the Emailer patches on my web site (patch1 or patch2) that add Dual @ support, or reverse the POP/SMTP order... James Quilty has identified a problem with them.
I altered the version info as part of the patches so that people would know that they have patched their copy. It seems I removed a character from the version string that Emailer needs to be there. Everything works fine for what is probably most people, but if you happen to attempt to send an email (or your email gets resent) using a mail server that is more strict with following the rules... then the email will be rejected because of an illegal character. I will endeavor to update the patches tonight or tomorrow night. Meanwhile, if you have installed either patch, and feel like making the fix yourself, all you have to do is open the 'vers' resource ID 2, and add a space character to the end of the string (put it after the "p1" or "p2" depending on which patch you installed). Save your changes, and all should be fine. Sorry about that. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
