Good point, Chris. There's no question that I don't need all of them--and that's why I use the "Trash messages and attachments" script to eliminate as many as possible first! ;-> Some of those are from other archived messages that I intend to keep, but moving the files can break the link with the attachments in my experience. Now, it wasn't that slow on the older HD before I swapped last week. I may try re-installing the AppleScripts afresh to see if that helps. Having to deal with all of these attachement files in this HTML email day is some of why I'm wondering if it's finally time to break with Emailer...
