I'm sure this has been covered many times but I wasn't paying attention.
I've set up an email account for another user with a different ISP.
Username: radford
Email account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Email password: ********
SMTP server: mail.sam-radford.me.uk
^This works. It's the default address
Username: radford
Email account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Email password: *****
SMTP server: mail.sam-radford.me.uk
^This doesn't work although I set up the account correctly.
My ISP suggested the following:
Username: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Email account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Email password: *****
SMTP server: mail.sam-radford.me.uk
That results in the same error message:
** Pop server error "-ERR Username/Password Mismatch perhaps
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ?"
Uh, OK, I solved the problem like this:
Username: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Email account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Email password: *****
SMTP server: mail.sam-radford.me.uk
I thought it was worth posting just for the archive. :-)
