IMHO, no. Take a look at Thunderbird from the Mozilla Project <http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/>. It's has the three characteristics I think are vitally important for any replacement for Emailer: 1. Cross-platform 2. Open Source 3. Free (no cost and freely modifiable) Bonus: The existing user interface is similar to Emailer. I think it's worth d/l-ing Thunderbird and giving it a whirl.
