Doing my own follow-up here... A quick note back from the operators of the archive informed me that the site's storage system is undergoing maintenance and is simply taking longer than expected. They had to suspend processing of incoming messages for the duration, but it should be back up soon.
Hard to complain about a free service, especially when they're so responsive!
