Mozilla Thunderbird is a free, open-source, cross-platform email client from the Mozilla Project. As announced on the Mozilla homepage <http://www.mozilla.org/> and in MozillaZine on Monday <http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=4699>, Thunderbird 0.6 has been released.
New in this version is a redesigned Thunderbird icon (looks fantastic to me), a new default theme for Mac (OS X) called pinstripe and a bunch of other improvements all detailed in the release notes <http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/releases>.
