Using Claris Emailer 2.0 v3 under OS 8.6. > >try [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the Email Account >field. If that doesn't work, try other symbols instead of a % at the >begining. I also use OS 8.6, Claris Emailer 2.0 v3, and subscribe to SBC Yahoo DSL. (But when the new G5s are announced at WWDC on June 28 [?!], I'm getting one and jumping to OS X--and hope to keep on using CE under Classic mode.) Chris is right: I have the following entered under "Email account": [EMAIL PROTECTED] But what you have listed for "SMTP server" will not work. Because of "authentication" issues, you will need to download and install Chris's "Baton Mail" application in order to send email out (visit http://www.mythtech.net/). Download, install, and set up Baton Mail, and then where CE asks for "SMTP server," put in "localhost." Once you have both "Email server" and "SMTP server" set up properly, CE will to work like a charm with SBC Yahoo DSL.
