In all the discussion of Mac anti-virus software, I never once saw anyone 
mention McAfee's Virex or Virex7. I use both of these on my network. 
While the fate of Virex for OS9 is somewhat dubious (as for most Classic 
apps), Virex7 is still being updated with virus definitions. Since OS X 
is built on UNIX, it is vulnerable to any UNIX-exploiting virii or 
trojans. Granted, there are about as many of those as there are Mac 
viruses, but if you want the peace of mind, you might want to look into 
it.
