It could be an authentication issue, or it could be something else. Baton Mail is available via www at www.mythtech.net/baton.html BUT, you said you are using AOL as your dialup? I believe AOL blocks all SMTP traffic when you dial onto their system. This is to prevent you from using any SMTP server other than AOL's. Of course, I don't think you can directly set your client to use the AOL mail server. But I did think that it trapped the traffic and passed it on to their own server. Maybe it is trying to do that, but in typical AOL fashion, is broken right now. Running a stream log will give you a much more definitive answer as to what is going on. With a stream log you can see the communication between the email client and the server. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
