I restarted, and tried the patch again. This time, it didn't complain about available disk space, but it did abort, saying that the results of the patching did not match waht was expected. (I was attempting to patch a copy of 2.0v3. Would that be the problem? Is it possible to have both 2.0v3 and the dual @ patch, or do I have to choose between them? Also, while I'm trying to get used to Emailer 2 (I've been using 1.1v3 for years, but apparently the dual @ patch doesn't work on it), I've noticed a couple of oddities: For one thing, sorting messages by date (my default) gives very unpredictable results. Is this only a problem with messages imported from 1.*, or does 2.* have date issues of its own? For another, with 1.*, I would get a message which would cause Emailer to barf and crash maybe once every six months or so, and I'd have to remove the message from the Temp Incoming folder manually before I could even start Emailer again. (This would usually happen when I was sent a WIndows executable -- like a virus -- as an attachment, but it doesn't happen every time somebody sends me an executable.) However, every time I do a mail run with 2.*, it barfs while importing messages with attachments. Usually, it just leaves them inline, so I can recover them if I need to with StuffIt Expander, but about 4 messages out of every hundred are left, unimported, in the Temp Incoming folder. (Oddly enough, 1.1v3 handles those leftover messages without a hiccough.)
