Within five seconds, my (personal) eBay summary came up, after I typed into the URL box: <my.ebay.com> I don't ever recall a time when the connection took much longer. I subscribe to low-power (cheaper) broadband cable. My conclusion: Since you say you have an eBay account, try connecting via: my.ebay.com which should bring up *your* ebay Summary, giving the history of your bidding, the number of items being watched, etc. Should you still have a slow download, I would place the problem within your computer connection. Incidentally, if you *do* place a winning bid on an item, eBay will send you an email to notify you of that fact.
