I'm happy to hear we aren't on auto pilot and were simply forgotten 
about, destined to circle forever.

At least he is still aware of the list, and is reachable, which means 
chances are, if something goes wrong with the list, he can be found and 
will fix it (or he may know if something goes wrong and takes care of it 
without prompting).
