When I saw your subject line, I was about to delete your message as spam, 
but it isn't!  What you describe I think I have seen also, under the same 
circumstances.  Every once in a while, I might have the "Connection 
Status" window open, and I'll see the subject line of a incoming message 
flicker for a nanosecond in the window, but then the message doesn't show 
up in the inbox.  But 10, 20, or 30 minutes later, there it will be in 
the inbox.  

Since the message does show up sooner or later, I don't worry about this 
much.  It's a small nuisance and a small price to pay for the continued 
use of CE.

I'll try your trick of clicking on another app and then going back to CE.
