This is the same error that I mentioned in a Jan 5 digest posting. I have been noticing it for a month or 2. The files are almost always 12 kB and have similar names whereas most gif files I receive are 4 kB. I suspect that there is code attached to the graphic after the end of the graphic file that may be malware of some sort but CE will not decode that portion. The graphics will open in a browser. I notice that you are on Earthlink so I wonder if this is a problem on all ISPs or only Earthlink.
