Um, if I understand your question correctly, then your assumption is correct. If you have 3 email accounts. Each from their own ISP (say A, B, C), and you normally send all your email out via ISP C... then you would not be able to use this version of Emailer. This version will connect to the SMTP Server listed in the account in question, BUT, it will attempt to authenticate using the POP Username and Password from the same account in question. So you would not be able to put in a SMTP server that belongs to an provider that will not accept the POP info as valid authentication information. I understand there are people that would want to do this, I do it myself for some email accounts, but as of right now, you just can't. (To enable this, I would have to find a way to ask for the username and password you want to use with the account, and that involves adding more fields to an account setup, that wouldn't be the end of the world... BUT it also involves storing that info along with the other account info, and that is likely to be impossible for me to undertake... I have yet to even figure out the structure of the mail database, which is where the account info is stored, and without knowing the structure, there is zero hope of me figuring out how to safely add more data to it). Baton Mail does allow you to do what you want. Baton Mail will accept any SMTP Server and any username/password combination to try for any email address. In Baton Mail you set them all yourself, and can set them to anything you want, Baton Mail doesn't care if they match the email address you are using in the email being sent (although some providers like Mac.com do care). -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
