I don't think it is actually the X-Sender line that is really at fault, so much as the info contained in there, well, is invalid. 192.168.1.6 is not a valid mail server address (in terms of spam protection). Not only is it not an address that has an MX record that can be verified, but it is also an non routable IP address. All around, it screams spammer. The best bet is to fix the problem at the client end that is inserting that IP. I'm guessing your account is setup using IPs instead of DNS. If you can't use DNS to access your mail server (internal network and no DNS server), use the Hosts file in the Mac OS to fake it.
