Skip the firewall software, and just go with a hardware solution. Unless you have highly sensitive data and REALLY REALLY need to be sure your network isn't compromised, just get a SoHo level firewall/router from your local office supply store or computer store. You should be able to pick up a wired one for around $50 and one that acts as a wireless access point for less (WAP ones are constantly on sale or rebates bringing their prices into the $10-$20 range). LinkSys, Netgear, DLink, Belkin all make inexpensive and fully capable units. Software will just breed more headaches. Let the hardware take care of it and allow yourself to forget all about it. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
