I don't know of any way to alter where Emailer puts a new message window (or any message window for that matter). But I do have to question, what is different between hiding the dock and using a hack to turn it off. In either case, the dock is not visible on the screen, so why bother with some kind of a hack? There are utilities out there that will move the trash can (or at least put an alias to it), on the desktop, and you can already put the hard drive on the desk top. There are also utils to give you an application switcher... between those three things, you can replace the functionality of the dock and then just leave it in hiding mode. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
