Before we dig into the why... let me ask you... what do these message 
bodys say when you get them in Mail?

I'm guessing they are across the board spam and/or virus emails of some 
sort.

If that is the case, who cares why Emailer doesn't display the body... it 
is doing you a favor by not bothering you with junk. :-)
