I looked into this a while back. I think I found according to the GMail 
support pages, they send over a non standard port using SSL for POP. Why, 
I have no idea, but that was what they do.

That being the case, then no, GMail will not work with Emailer.

However, you may want to double check their support pages. It is possible 
that was only for SMTP access, and POP works fine (for SMTP I can 
understand why a high profile server like GMail would use non standard 
ports and SSL connections).
