PowerBook G3 "Kanga" running OS 8.6.

I'm cruising at home with a wireless PCMCIA card from
MacWireless and a friendly neighbor with a wireless router.

On the road it works like gangbusters with the many motels
which have wi-fi.

But I visit one place where I need to connect thru
ethernet, and all I get is "the network is not available."

I have in my Extensions folder "Ethernet (Built-In),"
version 2.0.4.

Since I don't use Apple Talk, I have disabled the
"AppleTalk" control panel.

Is that the problem? Or what else should I have in the
System Folder that I might not have, or what else should
I be doing that I'm not doing?

Thanks for any help & best regards,

Bill
