I have Emailer running in it's own user account under OS 10.4.2, on a G4 iMac. Info from Classic prefs shows that Classic mode is using OS 9.2.1; Classic support is 2.2.1 and Classic enabler is 9.5.0. Classic environment shows version 1.9, build 184, Mar 21, 2005 17:56:27
My problem is frequent Emailer freezes upon returning from another user account. When frozen, previously open windows are blank white boxes. The six color apple is visible, and usually the word Help appears adjacent to the Apple logo. Everything is fine after force-quitting Emailer - which usually takes the Classic environment with it. I also use MORE with Classic (in the same user account) and have seen the same problem but less frequently. All Classic appications and files are on a separate HD partition Disk utility procedures have been run Any ideas? Thanks.
