I suspect that the "click here" is an image, and that the original message
was an HTML message with a link to that image.  The image was probably
pulled into the message from the sender's server.

We see a lot of those images in spams and fakes, such as come-ons for fake
bank warnings, and eBay or PayPal scams.

Since Emailer can't display HTML messages, and can not pull images into the
message body, you see a blank link.
