You should be able to double-click on the PDF file, and it should open in
the appropriate application (Adobe Acrobat Reader, Adobe Reader, Acrobat,
etc.).
You could also drag the PDF icon onto the reader's application icon, or onto
an alias of the application.
If you are saying that the PDF data is somehow merged into the body of the
email message, so all you see is a lot of text "garbage," then save the text
as a plain text file. Save it into a folder. Then run that text file
through Stuffit Expander. Stuffit Expander ought to pull the separate PDF
file from that text, and save the new PDF file with a new name.
If that doesn't work, then open the garbage text file, and look for the
beginning line:
%PDF-1.4 (The "1.4" may be a different number depending
on the version of Acrobat used to make the
file.)
Delete all the text before that %PDF-1.4.
Then go to the end of the garbage text.
Look for the line:
%%EOF (Means "End of file")
Delete any garbage text after %%EOF.
Save the text file. Try to run that through the Acrobat Reader application.
You should then be able to read that PDF.
