Been there, done that.... Outlook Express keeps email in one database and the attachments to the email in another database. The database containinig the attachments can get quite huge really quick. One ought to delete unneeded attachments from the email at once and regularly rebuild the databases. One huge attachment and the database containing the attachments is all of a sudden 30 MB large or larger.
