>I am using AIM 4.3, an old version. It doesn't seem to have crash problems.

I'm on AIM 4.7, the last OS 9 version. It seems to work 99% correctly
(once in a while, the sounds stop working, but that is cured with a
reboot).

However, there seems to be some conflict with AIM and Wamcom Mozilla, and
the fault lies with Mozilla I believe. If both are running, periodically
(on the order of twice a day), AIM will "take over" the computer. That
is, you can click on nothing but AIM windows, and sometimes not even
those. Quitting (or force quitting) AIM will restore use of the rest of
the computer. Relaunching AIM will usually leave the problem cured, for a
little while.

You'd think this is an AIM problem, except that it ONLY happens when
Mozilla is also running. Run just AIM, and it never happens. Also, very
rarely (but sometimes) it will happen when AIM is not running, but
Mozilla is. Only then it will be some other application that will lock
itself in the forground and need to be force quit.

It never happens when Mozilla is not running.
