It does make the digest rather large and fills my emailer database even quicker. FWIW my own preference is that you upload the text as a txt or htm file to your own web site or iDisc and post the link here together with your summary. That's what I have done in other email lists. If you don't have web space, you can get it for a little as 22 GBP per year. I think that's about 40 US dollars. It includes the hosting for 12 GBP and URL for 10GBP. Actually, it's cheaper than that because 10 GBP gets you the URL for 2 years. Here's the link (I'm not on commission): http://www.betterwebspace.com (The actual server is in the USA). Or if that's too expensive/too much hassle, email the text to one of us (me, Chris, anybody?) and we'll upload it for you. BTW I have no objection to off-topic subjects per se.
