It sounds like the file itself is damaged. The EOF error stands for "End of
File." The "unexpected end of file" error means that something thinks that
the file is bad.

If you have sending other RTF files from Claris Emailer successfully, then
this points to a problem with the file, not with Emailer or the SMTP (ISP's
mail sending) server.

If you duplicate the same file, and have the same error, it still indicates
a problem with the file, not with Emailer or the server.

Try to open that RTF file with its creator, perhaps MS Word. Will Word open
it? If not, you have a bad file. If Word will open it, save the file with
a new name. Will Emailer send it now? If not, try this method for
stripping bad stuff from the file:

Configure MS Word to require Confirm conversion at Open
[Preferences -> General -> Confirm conversion at Open].

Use Word to File -> Open -> YourDocument.

Confirm that Word is actually opening an RTF document.
File -> Open -> "Convert file from: Rich Text Format (RTF)" -> OK.

File -> Save As... -> Save File as Type -> Rich Text Format

Save As... New_File_Name.RTF

Close the file.

Word -> File -> Open -> New_File_Name.RTF ->
Confirm "Convert file from: Rich Text Format (RTF)" -> OK.

File -> Save As... -> Another_New_File_Name.RTF

QUIT Word.

See if Emailer will now send the file.
