Hi venerable Emailers,

While using Emailer 1.1v3 for some accounts, I have from time to time
encountered a particular strange behaviour in how Emailer handles some
enclosures. Perhaps this acually happens with my Emailer 2 as well, but I can't
recall any instances at the moment.

Normally, I suppose enclosures are either embedded in the message or end up in
the download folder, but in these particular cases they are saved to the folder
in which the Emailer application itself resides, being sequentially numbered
'.1', '.2', '.3', and so forth.

The naming procedure obviously means these files behave as invisible when I
work in Mac OS X.

Since it doesn't happen very often I don't get overly disturbed when it occurs,
but I'm nevertheless curious if other Emailer users have seen this happen and,
in such cases, have learned the reason for it and possible solutions.

The kind of enclosures in question are generally Word documents or PDF files
from senders on some Windows system. It can occur regardless whether I run
Emailer directly in 9.2.2 (swedish) or in the Classic environment in 10.3.9
(also swedish), on an iBook G3/500 (white).

Many thanks and (warm!) summer greetings!

Björn
