Not real clear on your environment here. Are these both EMAILER 
applications? What you do then is set the old one to disable schedules, 
and not worry about it.

If two different programs, just have emailer (or the other one) to not 
delete messages from server.

I am stuck using other apps on occasion, or running a copy of emailer on 
another machine, no problem at all.
