It sounds as if that one bad email is stuck in your Temp Incoming folder.
If you are SURE that you have all the email you need from the mail server,
and if you are SURE that have deleted the bad email from your mailbox by
using the Earthlink Webmail interface,
... then, Quit Claris Emailer. Then go to your Temp Incoming folder
Claris Emailer Folder -> Claris Emailer Files -> Temp Incoming
... and
If you are running OS 9, open Temp Incoming folder and remove and Trash
every file that is in there. Empty the Trash. (You could also move those
files to another folder on the desktop, and look at the contents of those
files using a text editor such as BBEdit or MS Word.)
If you are running OS 10.x, then remove the files from the folder, close the
folder, and TRASH the Temp Incoming folder. Empty the Trash.
When you run Claris Emailer the next time, it will create a new Temp
Incoming folder. Under OS X, do not open the Temp Incoming, close it, and
attempt to run Claris Emailer. It's OK to open and close Temp Incoming
folder under OS 9, but not under OS X.
