I'm using Basilisk to run another Classic application (The Athlete's Diary) on my Intel iMac, and it works fine. Took me the better part of an afternoon to get it going, but I was able to do it with, IIRC, Mac OS 7 system files and ROM files that are available freely on the web.
My recollection from previous discussions of this was that Claris Emailer would run under Basilisk, but there were issues getting it to communicate with the system resources (ie, Internet access) that were running under OSX. -- Steve > Some currently functioning (and free) PowerPC emulators are > SheepSaver, Basilisk, and PearPC. > > All the best, > Parallels Support Forum" > > So I'll close off my thread on Parallels and try to follow the > above leads. > > If anyone gets results, let us know.
