I have a puzzle unrelated to Emailer, but am hoping the collective
wisdom here can offer some help.
CD's won't mount on my eMac G4 (512 MB memory, running 10.3.5). When I
insert a CD into the tray and close it, the CD churns for a few seconds
and ejects. Repeated attempts produce the same result.
BUT, a DVD inserted into the same drive plays normally. Is this a
hardware issue (bad drive) or a software issue? This happens with music
CDs and also today with my TurboTax install CD.
TIA for any help or insights - a trip to Apple is not in the cards
right now, time-wise.
