My husband compiled a letter in Word which he sent me some days ago. I opened it this afternoon and worked on the letter editing it. When I finished I saved it to my desktop then sent it as an attachment to his email address. I then tried to get my Claris mail but the desktop vanished. I restarted and got the startup windows but the minute the desktop loaded it vanished. Anybody know whats going on?
A friend wrote me to say don't download any Word attachment that comes from outside as there is a virus going round. But that I could send and receive a Word doc from my husband's computer to my laptop and vice-versa - do you think that did it? I'm writing this in earthlink's web mail.
