Here's "Shred Messages." (With a copy for Chris in case it's not on his site.) Invoke it, the message is gone (not even in deleted mail), and the attachments are in the trash. It is useful, besides for messages with no attachments, for cases where you want the attachments but not the messages. The messages are gone and it is convenient to pick the attachments out of the trash. (Otherwise known as "dumpster diving.") This (for the list) is without the AppleScript.
