Neville, When you say "pages" does that mean a brandname product ?
I only see 3 possible roads to a solution: - Make PDF's that contain text, apart from a graphical page image, and use the Adobe products to edit the PDF's. OR - Run OCR such as Visioneer Paperport on the PDF's. If you want, mail me an example, and I will see what I can make of it. OR - Find someone (maybe in a school) who is running ImageWriter I or II printers on Mac, or even daisywheel printer (?) and check if the printfile generated by that printer driver contains the text. I have no clue whether you are a tech guy or not. Picking up the print file was always possible under Mac OS with a keyboard shortcut. BUT: option 3 will not work if your PDF does not contain the text 'as text' but only a photo image of the page. It is one of the things I hate about the Adobe marketing; they do not stress enough that their PDF standard is a binder/wrapper just like Quicktime is, and inside can be several different formats. The OCR is then a valid replacement; although you will have to correct some typo's. Marc PS: Wouldn't it be great if someone finds a map an indicates with a dot and initials where we all are, to get a better idea of time difference.. Some of you suddenly start talking when I think you are asleep. Absorbing the reply mails then make it into a bad dream maybe :-) Neville Findlater wrote on 19-12-2006 02:13 * * * Start of original message text * * * >Ok so no one has answered this really. >Print to pdf works the opposite of what is saught. >What we are looking for here is pdf to word or pdf to pages >or something like that pdf to Pages would be a great tool. > >Regards Neville --- Just Marc - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - ICQ 3888426 ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
