Dear Chris,

You souffer the finest sympthoms of the pleasant variation of being nuts.
 What an RFC !
Now I get it.. this explains why I have to clean the spam off my car
windscreen so often..
and as you may know I am running my secret carrier pigeon network hub
near a famous square in Venice Italy that was named after me (or me after
them).

I laugh each time people at Cisco claim they have the biggest routers...
watch the activity on this Italian backplane !

I always say... if Adolf Hitler had the Mac 68K and text-based tools such
as Claris emailer, we would have been paying our bread in Reichsmark and
our dear beloved common railway facilities would have been the Deutsche
Reichsbahn. Watch ENIGMA the Movie ! I love it.

We got graphical tools because of their productivity improvement, but we
exagerrated and today people ask simple questions like "will you join me
for dinner tonight" in a latest version Flash movie, and we are shipping
documents around that are 90% overhead, headers and fonts, and contain
exactly the same text portion as we would send 20 years ago. And we have
animated trashcans, not to forget that boost to the economy and social
promotion of our people.

Today's keyboards contain more CPU power than is required to type and
print a letter.

Hey Listers,

Was having a discussion with my boyfriend during his holiday visit, and
when I told him what my ISP charged per month for my dialup account, what
I paid each month for my Verizon Freedom telephone plan, he says that for
the same monthly cost (but probably less!) I could have high speed
internet in addition to cheaper long distance telephone service if I got
basic cable (and therefore a cable modem). Well, if I do this, would I
still be able to use CE for email?

Yersinia.
