This strays from the Claris Emailer topic, but perhaps someone on the list has an informed opinion.
I must select new web page software. I was using Claris HomePage, which was about the same age as Claris Emailer. Now that I am on Intel Macs, HomePage won't work at all. I have decided to use Adobe/Macromedia DreamWeaver. It has an interface reminiscent of Claris HomePage, and will open my existing Claris HomePage documents. All the other programs I tried had various difficulties, and most could not open my existing files. On opening an new DreamWeaver document, it offers a selection of the type of document: None HTML 4.01 Transitional HTML 4.01 Strict XHTML 1.0 Transitional XHTML 1.0 Strict XHTML 1.1 XHTML Mobile 1.0 DreamWeaver selects XHTML 1.0 Transitional by default. Which one should I select? What is the risk/benefit of selecting any of the possible candidate file types? Thanks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Roger S.
