And -even then- it would be wrong to send file names inclusing spaces, 
and omit spaces.

Who the hell uses spaces in filenames...  That's asking for trouble.
Word processing is to be done INSIDE the file, not in the fileNAME.

But since we live in a world of total chaos, Apple should on-the-double 
make sure those quotes are there.  And think about wrapping an 
escape-sequence for the next bone-head who will try to plug quotes in the 
middle of filenames.
