To my knowledge there has been no "unfortunate downfall"... [EMAIL PROTECTED]
is
still active on this Mac and gets/sends email from/to lots of
places/people. It's used every day.>

I use mine all the time too. I even moved it to the new iBook I just got,
and got some tips here, and a patch by Chris, just yesterday, so I'll be
able to use it at public wifi hotspots. Right now this very email is
being generated on CE on my iBook, and will be sent out using my
boyfriend's "wireless dialup" network. :-)

The only times I've used other emailers were (a) a tryout of Eudora
twelve years ago -- which didn't work out for me at all, and (b) I think
maybe a few months ag,o when my Emailer glitched and, not being sure if
the problem was Emailer or my ISP (but doubting it was the ISP since I
could still read mail on their webserver) -- so I popped open the OS X
Mail on my G4 and cried out for help to fix my Emailer on this list! Soon
as it got resolved (my Emailer was OK), I went immediately back to
Emailer and am still with it!
