If you use File > Database > Import you will find a choice that is specifically designed to handle Emailer messages and addresses. While I wouldn't claim that PowerMail has all the features of Emailer, it is a modern competent mail programme with an active list where you can come across a number of the old 'faces' from the Emailer list. Worth a look?
