     Your explanation of Powermail has been most helpful.  I like the 
appearance being the same in the first panel;  I see message, subject, 
and author is all in the second pane - that is not as useful for me as I 
often switch between subject, date and author  to find and well as file 
things;  with regard to the third panel, if I've understood correctly, is 
at the bottom of the screen - and I wouldn't like that because I need to 
scan a maximum number of Emails that come in daily in the window.  The 
other thing I would fine problematic is the large number of files I have 
in each of my 100 or so folders in the left panel, let alone the need for 
an additional software program to export CE.

     Nevertheless, I do appreciate your explanation and I do wish others 
who recommend alternative software would explain how they work so that 
one can make an appropriate decision to switch.
