You do not see your signature in an outgoing email, but it will show up the the email when received by someone. If you have several signatures, like I do, you can select the one for any email from the drop down menu at the bottom of the new outgoing email and it will be received. Send yourself an email to check if it is working and you will see the signature, but you will never see it in the outgoing email, like you do in Mail. Hope that helps.
