Classic blues? No more. It came to me in bed overnight, where evidently some of the best thinking goes on unconsciously.
My 9.2.2 Classic DOES have the Classic "Print to PDF" in its "Chooser." Once selected in the Chooser, all the Classic programs then recognize that as a "printer." So I can print any Classic program document to PDF. Then Acrobat Reader 9, in 10.4/10.5, opens those files and prints them out perfectly on my spiffy new HP Photosmart. Hence Emailer files and all my other Classic stuff print out without strain in OSX. I'm getting there gradually, maybe kicking and screaming, but getting there. Now I feel better that I did not really HAVE to yell for help. But it's fun to keep the troops awake every now and then. And to know that there IS a place to go where there ARE people who care.
