Mr. Fox, “platform.xml” refers to the platform xml file which you would need to replace with the relative or full path of the platform on your system. You can use an example platform from tutorial 0, but you will also need to have “bypassnem.xml”, “bypassmac.xml”, “bypassphy.xml”, and “transvirtual.xml” (also available in tutorial 0) wherever you run emane. These files are referenced by platform.xml so if they do not exist you can’t parse the platform file properly. I didn't specifically read the github instructions but did practically the same thing of unzipping the tar archive, go the directory holding the rpms and running sudo yum groupinstall -y *.rpm Everything installed right but when I type "emane" in terminal expecting to start it, I get Missing CONFIG_URL I can't find anything about this in the documentation, does anyone have any insight on this error? Thanks, Jon Fox
