Vijay, the EMANE framework can be used to emulate SONAR. You will have to develop a plugin to replace the existing PHY layer to model SONAR propagation and transmission loss characteristics.
Although this has been discussed in the past, we are not aware of anyone actually having developed plugins to support SONAR. kb Kaushik B.
