Position description
Technical Analyist to collaborate with business to support existing
application on day to day activities . Run T-SQL Queries on Microsoft SQL
Server 2000/2005. Troubleshoot application outages due to current
environment issues while collaborating with business on creative solutions.
Qualified candidates must possess the following skills and experience
Analyze / drive translation of a business vision / goal into a technical
solution(s).
In concert with project manager(s), coordinate and promote application
planning, management and communication.
Collaborate with business and technical resources to define objectives,
scope and requirements.
Conduct systems architecture and business information flow studies.
Analyze and document business processes, systems processes and data flow and
impacts.
Knowledge of systems architecture and infrastructure.
Participate in strategic project analysis, design and testing tasks.
Interface with business users and their representatives on IT projects.
Hands-on experience in systems analysis and design.
Serve as project consultant, applying your knowledge of business operations,
Generate innovative ideas to resolve problems and obtain common
understanding, direction and support for problem or opportunity approaches
Ability to read, understand and write T-SQL Queries on Microsoft SQL Server
2000/2005
Ability to manipulate data in Excel Worksheets
Ability to build, update technical requirements documents
Ability to read, understand and write PL/SQL on Oracle 8/9i
Beginner/intermediate knowledge of Unix and shell programming
NET, VB Script, web development skills
